This major international exhibition, featuring works by Pablo Picasso, includes 57 original prints created between 1923 and 1972, such as etchings, lithographs, linocuts, and one rare, canceled copper printing plate. Selected from the collection of Timothy Collins of Los Angeles and accompanied by an essay from curator Eric Mourlot, the exhibition highlights Picasso’s groundbreaking approach to printmaking across more than seven decades. A notable element of the collection is the inclusion of multiple proofs such as Tête de Femme au Chapeau, a series of prints that show his groundbreaking approach to printmaking from early color studies to the final composition.
